Take out the line "It was time to have a first crush" That doesn't make sense, take that line out. Take out the part "I can't believe my own brother would cause me to feel distress, Alex said" Alex wouldn't have felt distress, it was a normal question for Darwin to ask, there is not reason for Alex to feel distress here. Take that part out and leave the rest of what you said there. I love how you write Michelle as a strong woman, great job. She has her deal breakers in her relationship,, she sticks to them, Darwin changes for her deal breakers and she gives him another chance. Good writing there, very believable. Wait, what happened to first love, true love? Why didn't Alex move with Jane to the New Province? You have to work on your build up. I don't like the way you have a guy meet a girl one day, then profess his love for her and that is it. I think a guy meets a girl he likes, maybe he has to build up confidence to ask her out on a date, and it should take several dates before he professes his love to her. The characters need time to get to know each other, even if they know each other from the same town, the same school, dating is different, you need time to build up trust. Build up your story, drag it out. If a guy just comes up to me and says "I love you" it does not make sense that I am just going to drop everything I am doing and magically fall in love with him back and then the next day be married. A guy might ask me out, I might say yes, I would probably say no, but maybe the guy doesn't quit. Maybe he ask the girl out again and then she says yes, and they date several times and then when they get to know each other better, then he can say "I love you" I love you are words that are supposed to have meaning in a relationship, they are supposed to be special, and guys shouldn't just say them on a first date, a guy should say "I love you" at a special moment. If a guy just walked up to me and said "I love you" I would probably think he was crazy. Build up to the I love you moment, drag the romance out, build up to the moment, it should be special. A guy says I love you over a romantic dinner, he doesn't say I love you over a bag of groceries, but I like how you put buying groceries into the story. I Love the part where Alex learns from his failed relationships and doesn't quit Rosa. That part makes wonderful sense. Girls like it when a guy doesn't quit them. You have set ups in this story for future stories, so it is nice that the story doesn't have to end here.

This is difficult to admit. Usually on when posting this on a different website. I will expound on my past life, and explain how depression and social insecurity have plagued my existence from an ealy age. A lack of social contact leads to a lack of social contact. A pattern emerged where in my younger and more formative years I was focused more on not committing suicide that I was figuring out how to date or having sex. Essentially, thats what happened. When I left for university I burnt all of my bridges at home in the hopes for a better future in another state. I spent the first semester getting drunk with my fraternity. I had to leave the next semester due to dropping out of the fraternity; the story is complex. The old pattern of depression and isolation of high school repeated itself. To say that I hated the dorms would be an understatement. I succeed in moving out last year. Its a year that has been good to me; to say nothing of my anti-depressant prescription and yet. I am still a 23 year old who had never had a girlfriend and totally and utterly inexperienced at the arts of courtship or intimacy. I feel like I have to pack what should have been 10 years of learning into 1 year. Keeping in mind that in the dating marketplace I am horribly undervalued due to my inexperience. In essence: I realize that my life has been rather unusual for a scion of upper middle class parents who is attractive, well off, and (frankly, thank you books!) highly intelligent. I've coped by burying my past; all of it. While continuously not satisfied by my present conditions. Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations? Perhaps I don't have any idea what happiness, or normalcy, or satisfaction mean? But I want this, this simple one thing. I want a relationship. I deserve one. I want to kiss, fondle, love, stare into the eyes of another human being...the things that I deserve just as I deserve my scared dignity! But how?

Okay so here's my dilemma, i have a wonderful dad who married a completely unpleasant women. Basically it all started when i was in 7th grade and my step mom went snooping through my room and read my diary. I have the tendancy to read too deeply into things and such. When writing a royal themed fiction story, how accurate should I be?

I think its great you want to create your own country for the story but if you are going to base if off say the African culture I would do some research on African tribes and how they view social hierarchy, royalty, ceremonies, etc. If you are going to go the Hispanic route (which might be easier since I know nothing about Africa except its countries) I would look at the Aztec and Inca civilizations. Even though you are thinking Hispanic it might not hurt to look at the culture of Spain and Portugal as well as North and South America. You might want to also look at some Native American tribes. If you want to be a good writer you should want to have accurate sources. If you just mix cultures off the top of your head than some readers might get offended, like if you mixed all Native American war rituals and then claim they are a tribe in Quebec for the sake of the story. All professional writers, literature, film, plays do a lot of research to make sure the story is coherent.

How did we survive when fireworks were legal?

Fireworks have been outlawed for decades here in my town, fire hazard for homeowners. We had a lot of fun experimenting with them back in the , blowing the bark off elm trees that had Dutch elm disease, shooting pop bottle rockets straight out towards a target, putting firecrackers down red ant beds and blowing them up, using smoke bombs to scare off mosquitoes for awhile so we could play in the yard. After that we kept a bucket with water to put the wires in.

Job dilemma-To go for it or not?

Ive been doing catering work that pays 6 quid an hour and I work max. 3/4 days a week. I need a second part time for the summer to save up enough money to move into a new flat, and go on a 2 week holiday. Im earning around 120/130 pounds a week, but I had a job offer come up thats at a charity call centre that pay 7 pounds an hour for the first few months before you get a raise (my bf worked for them and said he left when he felt like the company was sucking people dry of their money) I dont know if I could do that as a job but I have to decide quick as I said Id go meet up with them tomorrow and go for training saturday and sunday. I am so confused and need desperate help. I am a 23 yr old married woman to a man that is what any woman could ask for. Why are women obsessed with their thighs?

Most women I have dated have made it a point to show off their thighs. They'll say, "I used to be a swimmer" or "I used to be a cheerleader". For a wedding next winter, why are you trying to figure this out now? Since these are your fiancee's friends, it's probably her call, but she's got months to figure it out. It's not uncommon for early versions of a guest list to have a couple of question marks, so if it was me, I'd allocate two spots for them, and see how it shakes out. You don't send invites out until 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding, and I'd think you'd know a lot more by then.

My Oma lives in Mainz, Germany, and when I graduate from high school in December I'm going to live with her for four months to improve my German, then I'm coming back to the states. I'm either going to go to school here in the states, or I am going to spend a year in Germany living in Mainz and taking classes at the Goethe Institute preparing me to pass the DaF so that I can attend school at one of the universities. My goal is to be able to obtain a work visa after school and stay in Germany if it works out. My question is, do you think it's possible that I can reach enough fluency in German to attend a university there? I've taken 4.5 years of high school German, my dad is a fluent German speaker and is currently only speaking to me auf Deutsch. I would love to be in Germany for school; this is only a dilemma because if I choose to spend that year in Germany to learn the language, if I haven't reached enough fluency and decide I can't attend a university there I might not be able to start school in the states until I'm 21. I don't know what that would mean for ACT scores and etc, but basically I'm choosing one or the other. Yes I've thought about studying abroad. The schools that I'm applying to in the states for my major do not offer good study abroad programs, the longest period of time I can participate is up to a year. So. It's one or the other for me, I don't want to ruin my education to switch countries, but this is an opportunity that is more available to me than other people and I'm not sure about due to the circumstances. Embarassing confession: help?

So when I was a little kid one of my biggest memories was walking into my cousins room and he was watching a freddy krueger movie. I got scared and asked him what it was and he told me it was real footage filmed about people who hear the story of the guy and he then comes after them and thats what all scary movies are. I took the SAT 3 times, the first time I got a 630 in math, which was my highest, but my reading was 500 and writing 470, overall 1600. Then in march I had reading 560 and math 560, and writing 460, overall 1580. My June SAT I had Reading 530, Math 620, Writing 530, overall 1680. Should I send my first grade with the poor english score but highest math score, or my last SAT with better english but a lower math score? ok, so im frustrated..i read EVERYWHERE that swordtails and platies (maculatus) "interbreed freely" lolol...i have 20 gallon tanks..heated 78-80f. nothing else in them. so when i go to cross breed i make sure theres no available mates of the same species so that way there forced to mate together...i tried male sword to female platy..(i usually do in one 20 g tank 1 male swordtail with 3-6 female platys so he has a choice) NOTHING!!! they dont even acknowledge one another just swimming up n down the glass doing whatever, no courtship displays how swords usually do by trying to "stab the female". What should i do about my snake dilemma?

3 weeks ago I bought a baby corn snake. He's really great except for one thing, he won't eat! I know that snakes can go a while without eating but what I'm worried about is that petco sold him wayyy to young and I don't know if he's ever even eaten before. I have tried to feed him 4 times now with no luck and have tried all of the feeding techniques in the book, dangling, leaving him alone in a dark place, braining, cutting in half. The dilemma is that I have the option of returning him and getting a new snake. But the longer I wait to return him, the less likely they will take him back. The store said that they would work with us about how long they will allow me to return him, but I don't know how long that actually means. Should I return him?

Ok, first off I'm 15. My parents are letting me do this acting thing over the summer. It involves me staying out until 2am but I'm in good care and for the performances my father has to be there anyway. Sapling~ english elm?

For the past few years there has been an english elm sapling growing in my bushes. Today i finally decided to uproot it. Okay this may go on a little bit but i need some help here. I have a sony ericsson elm phone and micro sd memory card in it, my laptop has wifi but my USB ports are broken also i have kodak wireless all in one printer esp 5250. I can put my memory card in the printer but its not picking up all my photos (YES THEY ARE THE RIGHT FORMAT). my problem is i need to print my photos on the memory card! i can connect my phone to laptop using wifi but i can only view the photos using windows media player and i have no options to edit or print. the kodak home centre picks up the windows media player but not the media device connected by wifi. is there ANY way i can print the photos off of my memory card by using any of the things i already have?? like by changing setting or anything i havn't already tried? please someone help me... :-(

Suggestions for roommate/moral dilemma?

I'm living with a good friend who is not in the most sound place financially. Basically he is used to a higher lifestyle until he was cut off, and wants to maintain that lifestyle with minimum wage jobs. Ours is an arranged marriage and we got married a year ago. During our courtship period he told me he had 2 girlfriends in past and had broke off with the last one 3 years before our marriage. I feel like a failure, a mere shadow of my former self. I have frequent suicidal thoughts, I wear all black, I am sadistic (do NOT call it emo, very different.), People at my school call me goth, I listen to screamo, death metal, horror metal, etc. I love horror movies/books, but not like paranormal activity, more like Nightmare on Elm Street, Children of the Corn, etc. Edgar Allen Poe is my favorite poet. The clicker is just a way of cementing in the dogs mind exactly what it did that got it the treat. It is a wonderful, effective, and kind method. It's used to train elephants, dolphins, horses, chickens etc... Clicker training is an all positive reward based method, no cruelty attached. I have been dating him for over five months now, and his family is four square Pentecostal, and they only believe in courtship. I'm going into high school next year and we are currently signing up for classes. I have a free semester and I was thinking if I should take philosophy? Job dilemma-To go for it or not?

Ive been doing catering work that pays 6 quid an hour and I work max. 3/4 days a week. I need a second part time for the summer to save up enough money to move into a new flat, and go on a 2 week holiday. Im earning around 120/130 pounds a week, but I had a job offer come up thats at a charity call centre that pay 7 pounds an hour for the first few months before you get a raise (my bf worked for them and said he left when he felt like the company was sucking people dry of their money) I dont know if I could do that as a job but I have to decide quick as I said Id go meet up with them tomorrow and go for training saturday and sunday.
