Who is the best actor playing freddy krueger, Robert Englund or Jackie Earle Haley?

I sower that I wouldn't buy the new nightmare on Elm St. with Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger, but I haven't seen any real new movie for awhile. So what the hell I desisted to pick up a copy. It's sucked just like every other remake of old classics. I think is a real a slap in the face to horror fans, and nightmare fans alike! Robert is Freddy and that's that!
