High school philosophy?

I'm going into high school next year and we are currently signing up for classes. I have a free semester and I was thinking if I should take philosophy? Or I can take an art class but I'm not artistic at all so this is my dilemma. Has anyone taken high school philosophy? What do you study? Is it interesting? do you regret taking it? Is it hard? Anything helps I don't know if I should sign up for it since there's a limited capacity. HELP
