What happen to the store "Shoe World"?

What happen to the store "Shoe World"? Maybe they have been bought out by a larger company (i.e. Payless)? The reason I am asking is because I had worked for them back in 1993. It seems like shortly there after they were bought out by another company. I am trying to create a work history for a resume. I can not remember the last day I worked for them. So I have crossed a dilemma.
