What are your thoughts on a Christian Courtship?

I made it a part of my purity pledge to not date until I turned 18, I'm 18 now and I've been studying about courtship for almost three years now. I really love the idea of a God centered relationship with the goal of marriage. That being said my question is if anyone else is looking into Courtship as a way for future relationships? and if anyone has been in one that led to marriage or is currently in a courtship?
