Is this a commitment issue or am I being logical?

i dont think its commitment issues at all... its the fact that the only close relationship you had with a guy was your dad... since he was the only guy in your life you got really close to, and than he left, and it seems that you feel that you cant even attempt to have a relationship with a guy that is greater than the connection you had with your dad .... i mean, he was your dad, you said it yourself that you and him had a connection so good it seem like your the same person .... and your subconscious wont let anyone attempt to match or exceed that relationship .... you dont want the same to happen with you dad, where you get so close with someone, and than there gone ....
