If you really liked them, would you wait...?

I have a dilemma. Let's say your crush (that you've had for about 6 months) recently got a girlfriend/boyfriend about 2 months ago. Would you wait for him/her? You REALLY like them. It's not like you're interfering with their relationship, but you still talk to him/her because they're a really close friend. You're happy for them, but you're still not able to move on quite yet because you think that eventually they'll fall apart. Would you wait for them? Or no? I can't seem to decide.
